Suffering from Swimsuit Irritation? Try RS Surf's Rash Guard

Steven Moneyworth
I enjoy going to the beach very much, but the problem of swimsuit irritation and chafing always made the experience bittersweet. After spending just a few hours swimming and walking around, the insides of my thighs would be red, irritated, and swollen from contact with the stitching and lining of my swimsuit, regardless of what swimsuit I would wear. Swimsuit chafing would always be forgotten until it had already occurred, but this summer, I decided to do something about it. I was at the point of buying a Speedo-style swimsuit to reduce chafing when I saw the under board short rash guard made by RS Surf and decided to give it a try.

RS Surf's rash guard is essentially a nearly-skintight swimsuit liner to be worn under a regular swimsuit. The rash guard provides support and acts as a barrier preventing swimsuit chafing and irritation. The improvement was instantaneous. Even though I had already experienced swimsuit chafing for about a day when I bought the rash guard, it reduced my discomfort almost completely and allowed me to enjoy the rest of my time on the beach. Remember, I was already in a good amount of discomfort when I began to wear the rash guard, but it made the problem of swimsuit irritation virtually disappear. To me, that's the best proof that there is that RS Surf's rash guard is a good product.

I'd like to point out that RS Surf's rash guard is very reasonably priced, at about $17. This is less than half of what a Speedo-style swimsuit costs, and the rash guard allows me to wear the three swimsuits I already own, rather than buying multiple new suits. In other words, it would cost over $100 for me to replace my current swimsuits with Speedo-style swimsuits, whereas it cost less than $20 to buy the rash guard by RS Surf. Likewise, most males (at least in my experience) would prefer not to wear a Speedo-style swimsuit in public. The rash guard is worn comfortably under a bathing suit and is not noticeable unless it is intended to be shown. RS Surf's rash guard also adds an extra layer of modesty (literally) to a swimsuit, as it helps to break up the outline of a man's private area - something that is sure to show when most male bathing suits are exposed to water. For men interested in being a little more modest while swimming, the rash guard may fit the bill.

In short, RS Surf's rash guard is a great product that, in my experience, completely eliminated the problem of swimsuit chafing. If you are a male or know a male that has problems with swimsuit irritation and chafing, consider the rash guard - your time at the beach and afterwards will be much more enjoyable. Have you used RS Surf's rash guard or a similar product? If so, feel free to leave your own thoughts on the product in the form of a comment. Thank you for reading!

Note- I have done a lot of investigation online and I cannot find a website dedicated to showing RS Surf's products. However, analogous products made by more well-known brands of surfing gear can be found at this website. If you can find the RS Surf rash guard in stores, I continue to recommend it. If not, I am sure an analogous product would help to alleviate swimsuit discomfort.
