Sugar Changes the Game yet Aagain on Survivor Gabon

Survivor Gabon has had shocking tribal councils ever since the merge. Hell even before the merge with Ace going and tonight was no different. Last time, as well all know Corinne went thanks to a failed hidden idol. Returning back to camp thinks were a bit dramatic as Matty was fuming from the vote that Kenny gave him. Sugar was somehow unaffected and wanted to stick with Crystal and Kenny, although she probably cannot (sadly) beat them in the end. We were also given another cocky moment from Kenny who may take Corrine's role. He claims to be the "master mind" in the game, and may be right. Kenny is the only one playing the game, and has been for awhile. At least Crystal admits to not playing the game and wants to get Matty back for the stupid decision she made for not voting him out.

Before going to bed both Kenny and Bob had a discussion. Kenny wasn't happy that Bob lied about the fake idol and somehow made Bob feel guilty. He then told Kenny that he'd give him the immunity, if he wins it next round..... um what? Bob is an idiot, well maybe not completely but why? He owes nothing to Kenny and obviously doesn't realize you HAVE to lie in the game of Survivor. The next day the final six competed in a game of swap basketball. After wading through the swap, to retrieve a ball, they would then have to score a basket to get another ball. First to make three won a trip to see gorillas and some food. The three girls were out of it the entire time and in the end Matty, Bob and Kenny were neck and neck. Bob scored the winning basket, giving him another reward and allowing him to take Kenny and Crystal. He send Susie to Exile, letting Sugar and Matty alone. Another stupid move by Bob.

After taking a helicopter ride, the three arrived at Africa Eden where they ate, took showers and talked game. Kenny told Bob that he can give him the idol whenever, it doesn't have to be this round. Why does Kenny even expect Bob to actually give it to him? How does he even know he will win it? Kenny isn't as smart as I thought and more annoying now. Once all clean it was time to see the gorilla's. All three loved the experience and Bob felt close to the apes. Over at Exile it was time to convert the shack to the Susie Shack. She gorged on fruit and just took time away from the game, although she doesn't deserve to. Back at Nobag Matty was working hard on Sugar. He wanted her to vote out Kenny and Crystal, oh and give her the idol. Sugar is finally stepping out on her own them and told Matty flat out that he's going next round. Doing so set Matty off even more, forcing him to turn into Randy as the three returned.

With the three rewardees back from the gorillas it was time for Matty to run his mouth, well actually Crystal to run her mouth. Kenny knew that he was angry and let him know. Crystal then pulled Matty aside and told him he has no right to be mad about one vote when she already had eight against her, one even from him. Sugar watched it all go down and began to cry.... again. She realized that her friends, Kenny and Crystal, were actually the bullies the entire game and she was ready to flop again. Sugar went to Matty and let him know that she will work with him, Bob and Susie to take out the bullies. Matty was excited but would Bob flop? At the immunity challenge the final six had to put together a mask, blindfolded. After moving three puzzle pieces through a course, they then had to resemble a mask. Some highlights are both Crystal and Susie going off course several times and both Kenny and Bob slamming into the wooden pieces. In the end Bob pulled out, just ahead of Matty, giving him his fourth win in a row. Only issue is he promised his idol to Kenny, so in reality Kenny won. Or did he?

Following the immunity challenge it was time for Kenny to play his game. He told Bob that he felt his alliance was turning on him and wanted the idol. Bob played it up though, saying they'd talk later and gave Kenny time to dig his own grave. Kenny immediately went back to the hut and told the others that Bob will give him the idol. Bob NEVER said he would this round, but there was more. Kenny wanted to blindside Bob after the idol was passed over, but Sugar wouldn't do it. She went to Bob and, while crying, told him the plan. He didn't seem to buy it at first but thanks to Sugar Bob knew what was about to go down. Matty's only hope was Sugar and possibly her idol. Wearing it out in the open, the tribe went to Tribal Council for yet another blindside. There Kenny called out the idol deal while Bob turned it back on him with the new deal. He told Kenny that he didn't feel he was going so the idol stayed with Bob. Following the vote there was time for one more Sugar move. She gave Matty the idol, saving him no matter what. And wait... was that a smile from Corinne? It was! Maybe Sugar is rubbing off on her after all. In the end Sugar's plan worked as Crystal received the remaining three votes, sending her home and leaving us with the final five before the finale. Remember, the Survivor Gabon finale is this Sunday! Tune in afterwards for my final thoughts!
