Wedding Reception Dessert #1: Sugar Free Chocolate Goblet Cake
This dessert is a sugar free dessert spin off of a punch bowl cake or a trifle. It is made as an individual dessert. For this wedding reception dessert you need 20 ounce plastic goblets.
Bake a 9X13 sugar free chocolate cake and let it cool. This cake will be sufficient to complete 20 goblets so increase the number of cakes needed based on the number of sugar free desserts you are preparing. While the cake is baking, mix 3 packages of sugar free instant pudding and chill until it is set. Once the cake is cooled and the pudding is set, cut the cake into 20 pieces. Crumble one piece into each goblet. Open a can of sugar Free Cherry pie filling. Add a couple of spoonfuls on top of the cake. Cover the pie filling with chocolate pudding. Next you will add a layer of sugar free whipped topping. Sprinkle the top with nuts, or which crushed pieces of sugar free candy bar. Do not overfill the goblet as you need to cover it with saran wrap in order to refrigerate until the wedding reception time.
Wedding Reception Dessert #2: Sugar Free Peach Angel Food Delight
If your wedding reception is buffet style you can do this sugar free dessert as a trifle in a large glass dish. If you are having individual meals, you can prepare this in a goblet or disposable margarita glass. You will have to gauge your ingredient purchase by the kind of dish you use to hold the dessert. For a trifle bowl, buy one sugar free angel food cake. Break it into one inch pieces and layer a portion of it in the trifle dish. Buy two large cans of sugar free peaches drain them but save the liquid. Use the liquid to mix with two boxes of sugar free instant vanilla pudding. You may have to add a little milk to thin the mixture out to get the pudding completely mixed. Then add a container of Sugar Free Cool Whip and mix well with a hand mixer. Add some of the pudding over the cake and top with some of the peaches. Add another layer of each.
If you are going to do this in individual dishes, you may not be able to do multiple layers and you may need to make your angel food cake pieces smaller. You will have to test this based on the serving dish you choose. A single layer of the ingredients will be sufficient, just be sure to get pieces of peach in each serving.
