Sugar-free candy is sold just about everywhere, and the products actually have taste. I just did a web search for "sugar-free candies", and received over 314,000 results at search.com. At the top of the list were some selections from Figi's candies, which can be delivered to your door.

I tried some sugared gum by accident, and found that it tasted just about like sugar-free gum does. This really surprised me, I looked at the pack of gum and realized that it was not my usual sugar-free gum. Normally, I notice the difference. This is just how good the sugar substitutes are getting at tasting like sugar.
Gums like Extra, Orbit, Dentyne sugar-free, as well as Peelu and "tooth brushing" gum products are now readily available, and extremely popular.

Jelly Belly sells sugar-free jelly beans, these are available in boxes, bags, or individually wrapped jelly bellies. The "sours" are available in sugar-free, as are the popular flavors Green Apple, Buttered Popcorn, Juicy Pear, Licorice, Tangerine, Sizzling Cinnamon and others. This is just one example of how sugar-free no longer means flavorless.

Both Whitman Chocolates and Russell Stover offer sugar-free chocolates in bags and sampler boxes. These are ideal gifts for birthdays, Valentines Day, Mother's Day, Christmas and other special occasions. The taste is remarkably similar to that of the chocolates with sugar in them.

Hershey's York peppermint patties and Russell Stover peppermint patties are available in the sugar-free variety. These are not necessarily diet products, however, sugar-free versions of candies have fewer calories, and I actually liked the taste of these better than the sugared variety, for some reason.

Hard candies are available in the sugar-free variety, including sugar-free life savers, and Baskin-Robbins hard candy in a number of delectable varieties.

Everyday Eating magazine, a free publication about sugar-free cooking, lists many recipes, and numerous sugar-free products. This publication specializes in articles directed towards people living with Type 2 diabetes.

Remedy magazine is a good source of information on a regular basis about sugar-free products, and ways of cooking without sugar. If there are people in your family who are avoiding sugar for any reason, it is good to be a source of support for sugar-free living for people, including yourself.

Many drug stores, such as Rite-Aid, CVS, Eckerd, and Walgreen's, also supply consumers with a free publication that frequently includes recipes for people seeking alternatives to cooking with sugar, people who need to use sugar substitutes.

Of course, nature's candies are guaranteed not to have sucrose in them (refined sugar), however, fruit naturally contains fructose. Berries are delicious, as are apples, pears, bananas, grapes, tangerines, and seasonal melons such as honeydew, cantaloupe and watermelon.

Please be certain to read the label on whatever product you are purchasing.
