Sugaring Hair Removal

Brenda Hoffman
Sugaring hair removal is an ancient form of epilation that has been around since 1900BC.

Body sugaring originated with the Egyptians. They believed that a body without any hair on it represented a young woman's innocence. Today there has been a renaissance amongst both men and women in hair removal by sugaring. There are many different reasons why sugar hair removal has become popular again.

Sugar Wax Can Be Used On Your Entire Body

Sugar wax can be used on your legs, underneath your arms, on your eyebrows, upper lip, bikini line and even on your stomach. The only place where it cannot be used is on a man's beard. This is because of the root system.

It Isn't Painful

The wax will only adhere itself to your hair. As such, it is usually less painful than waxing, which adheres itself to both your hair and your skin. Since sugaring won't adhere itself to any of your live skin cells, it is better for people who have sensitive skin or any other skin complaints such as eczema.

Sugaring Can Be Done At Home

You will find it relatively easy to purchase a sugaring kit online if you want to do so. This will allow you to be able to do the sugaring process whenever you have free time. Anyone who leads a busy lifestyle will find that this is a bonus for them since they won't have to carve out time to go to the beauty salon.

A More Permanent Solution

Using sugaring hair removal on a regular basis can lead to a more permanent solution. This is because the hair is removed at the root and thus will grow back in a much lighter color. It will also be much finer and finally the growth will slow down altogether.

Only Water Is Needed For Cleaning

You will be able to clean up sugaring wax with some water. Add to this the fact that the product is natural; you will have a really simple clean up process. This is something that you won't have with those waxing products that are petroleum based.

Sugaring Is 100% Natural

Not only is it good for your skin but it also doesn't have any nasty side effects. It is also good for the Earth.

In Conclusion...

Sugaring hair removal was first introduced thousands of years ago. Seeing a revival in this product is relevant to the way in which we live.
