"Suge" Knight, 43, of the past Death Row Records may possibly be going to jail, says Yahoo News. The DA's office in Clark County is pursuing battery and drug charges against Knight due to a complaint put in by The Las Vegas Justice Court. In the August Las Vegas incident, Rap mogul "Suge" Knight reportedly battered his girlfriend to the point where she had to be taken to the hospital for minor injuries.

Along with the battery charges, "Suge" is also being charged with two counts of drug possession. He was carrying Hydrocodone and Ecstasy when police arrested him in Las Vegas. To make matters even worst in relation to the battery charge, "Suge" Knight was also seen flaunting a knife during all of the commotion.

After the incident "Suge" was taken into custody, but later released on $19,000 bail. While this isn't the first time "Suge" has been in trouble, it may possible lead to serious jail time. The former owner of Death Row Records recently had his company auctioned off for $24 million due to his on-going financial problems.

Although "Suge" may initially be summoned for court within the next couple of weeks, his attorneys strive to prove his innocence by stating "We're going to vigorously defend him against these charges."

"Suge" Knight is well known for his notorious west coast rap label known as Death Row, which used to put out collective gangster rap albums by artist like Snoop Dogg, Tupac, Dr. Dre, The Dogg Pound and others.
