Suggested Tips for Finding Old Movies on DVD

C.B.
Looking to watch some of old movies that you loved as a child, or classics and just can't seem to find them? (Ah, The old movies are some of the best..) They're all being converted to DVD's nowaday so you can enjoy the same movie you watched years ago, and without having to rewind them! You might have a little trouble finding them, because some aren't even out yet. (But they're more than likely on their way!) So no worries! Here's some great tips that should help you find what you're looking for:

-Rent them from the a video store. Such as Hollywood video, or blockbuster.

-A used video store. There's plenty of stores like these that sell used videos and DVD's.

-FYE and Best buy also have a great selection of movies.

-On line stores, such as Ebay or Amazon would be a great place to find what you're looking for.

-You're most likely able to find more titles at on line DVD stores..Such as movies unlimited.com.

-Search for them on line, you can buy them at places such as movies unlimited.com (a great site with lots of movies you can buy on line that you wouldn't find anywhere else.)

-Here's a link to a list of some classic movies that are now on DVD. This might help: http://home.att.net/~movie.stars.1950/classic-movies.html

-Do a search on google for the movie you're looking for. Or type in keywords such as "Old Movies on DVD", "Classic Movies on DVD", "(Movie name here) on DVD", "Hard to find movies on DVD", "Rare Movies On DVD", Etc. To get the best results to find exactly what you're looking for on google, put parentheses around your words. Google is awesome at helping you search things, and most of the time you'll be happy with their search results.

*You should really consider buying them on DVD. It would be completely worth your money, and so much easier to watch over and over again. Nowadays everyone is converting their VHS' to DVD. If you buy them on DVD, they are definitely a better quality than VHS. The only thing that would be wrong with them is that sometimes they add things like extra scenes. You should really consider buying them on DVD, because VHS' don't last forever.

*To save you a little bit of time, before you go shopping it would be best to call around to certain locations around you to see which one sells the movies you're looking for. So that way you don't go out making a trip for nothing!

Hope these helped!
