Getting engagement photos is getting more and more popular with the newly engaged couples. Engagement photos are a great way to celebrate your engagement and relationship. Many times, people may use their engagement photos for newspaper announcements, wedding invitations or wedding thank you cards. So, when taking engagement photos you cant to make sure that you can great pictures. Great pictures involves great photo poses. Here are several different engagement photo poses to help get you started with ideas.

Fun Engagement Photo Poses

These engagement photo poses are meant to be fun and less serious. You may consider some of these photo poses if you and your fiancée are light-hearted or just want some casual engagement photos.

*Photos of the engaged couple laughing or smiling at each other. Not a fake smile, but a genuine smile or laugh.

*Photo of the bride or groom-to be chasing or running after the other person.

*Photo of the engaged couple playing in the snow or leaves or even on a playground

*Photo of the man tickling or bear-hugging his future bride.

*Photo of the woman standing over the man with her foot on him somehow, which can be played off that she is in control now.

*Photo of the man holding his future bride in his arms or her on his back like a piggy-back ride.

Classic Engagement Photo Poses

These engagement photo poses are for the couple that wants the classic and traditional pictures done for their engagement. These types of engagement photos poses are the ones that couples may use for newspaper announcements and thank you cards.

*Photo of one of the people sitting on a stool, usually the woman, with the other person standing behind them, touching her shoulder. The woman can also hold the man's hand to show off her engagement ring.

*Photo of the man standing behind the woman with his arms around her waist and her hands over his.

*Photo of the engaged couple with their heads bent in together so that they are staring into each other's eyes.

*Photo of the engaged couple sitting next to each other wrapped together with their arms.

Outside Engagement Photo Poses

If you want to capture some unique engagement photos, you may want to consider taking your photos outside into nature. There are several different spots that you can take advantage of for your engagement photos.

*Photo of the couple sitting in front of a waterfall in the park or on a stone wall by a waterfall.

*Photo of the engaged couple sitting or laying on a blanket in the middle of a filed of flowers or grass.

*Photo of the engaged couple standing on the steps in front of a beautiful mansion or castle or even historic building. Or this can be taken in front of the church they are getting married in.

*Photo of the engaged couple wrapped in each other's arms on the beach or by a river or stream

*Photo of the engaged couple standing on train tracks.

Lastly, if you have any special interest as a couple, you may want to include those in your engagement photos. This could mean some engagement photo poses with your dog, or with your favorite sports team memorabilia or with some kind of musical instrument.
