Suggestions for Hen Night T-Shirts

Michelle Ward
Hen night t-shirts are a massively popular idea on hen parties and there can be plenty of choices available. You could buy pre-made t-shirts, have your designs printed for you or you can make your own.

Whether you want to buy your t-shirts pre-designed, have them printed or go to the trouble of making them yourself, you should probably start by deciding what sort of top you want your party to wear.

The two most widely available, for printing, are vest tops or t-shirts.

Some online printers offer you the software to make your own creations online, either by using their editor or by uploading your own design which can be great if you or a friend is good with image editing software like Photoshop.

You can have lots of fun creating your own hen night t-shirts, you could get together as a group to do it. Fabric paints are readily available at most arts and craft shops and specialist sheets of paper which you can iron on to clothing can be found at from any good stationary shop. Paint your designs on by hand or make a stencil. If you're using a stencil use a roller and don't forget to separate the layers with a piece of cardboard or something similar.

Hen T-shirt Slogans

Putting slogans on your hen party t-shirts is a super popular idea for hen parties. Everyone has seen a hen night out with some, quite often, colourful slogans printed on their t-shirts.

For Example:

Lucky me, bride to be
Final fling before the ring
Future trophy wife

If you're going to use some of the risqué ideas for slogans or funny hen night names keep in mind that some venues might object, so it might be worth finding out before the night out to see where you should and shouldn't go, or hire out a private venue for the whole group in advance!

T-shirt Images

Why not include a picture in your design? You could use a picture of the groom or both the bride and groom. You could always put something funny underneath too. If you're a 'wizz' on Photoshop you could easily put together a funny picture of all the party guests, it might help you all remember who was there the following day ;)

Colours

Think about the theme of your hen night that you've chosen, what would be most suitable colour? Are you all going to wear the same colour?

Stand out from the crowd with strong colours. Plain one colour t-shirts will be cheaper but perhaps a t-shirt with more colours will fit better with your hen night theme, remember, you're unlikely to wear them again.

Hope these suggestions gave you some inspiration and hope you have a hen night to remember!
