Suicide

Your friend killed herself,
don't be the one, girl... to hear about it last...
You say you could have helped her,
that's what you say now... now being the past...
The mind is too complicated,
don't try losing or breaking down anyones...
Their problems aren't always known,
especially when it's a loved one...
There's a word I find difficult to say,
and even harder to hear it said...
The word is suicide, a solemn word,
and many people rule it bad...
People try to hide their feelings of it,
until it happens so close to them...
People don't want to think about it,
even if it is one of their kin...
We force our friends to put aside their feelings,
and put all their troubles away...
If we only took the time to show we care,
and we love them in a special way...
It's kind of hard to know what people feel,
and even harder to know what we all fear...
Oh, please tell them that you love them,
please tell them that you do care...
And if there's anything that ever bothers them,
oh, tell them that you'll be there...
"The wind blows on those filled with sorrow,
but we all should look for a brighter tomorrow...
"You will see that there's a love,
flying higher than the devil and his raven...
"It's deeper than the seas,
it's His golden palace, a wonderland called 'Heaven'... "
