Suicide: Causing the End

Brian
Tonight she sits by her windowsill alone
She's been left to face this world on her own

He left her when she needed him like no other
It seemed love came in and out of her life one after another

Tonight her mood is the darker than the darkest sky
What happened to the vows he promised to abide by?

He said their love was a beautiful car wreck
Crashing slowly into the wretched hurricane deck

Would she have stayed if she knew?
Would their love still have went askew?

She's never been the kind to ever let her feelings show
Used to faking a meaningless smile, stretching from head to toe

Her heart is torn from the scorned love
Now she's attempting to do what was once undreamed of

As she picked up the razor blade with only tears in her eyes
The blood quickly was leaving her body, along with her disguise

"I'll never get over him," she screamed as she dug the razor deeper
The scars on her arm became her diary keeper

She unfolded some old, yellow lost love letters
Though the blood was already on the floor, she wasn't beginning to feel better

"It's do or die," she thought to herself.
She never thought she'd be the one to kill oneself.

She walked to her bedroom to pick up the gun
She loaded the bullets, one by one.

She raised the gun to her head
"To hell with you," is what she said.

With one glance at the picture of her lost love
Now she has no life to take hold of

Days later as she was laid to rest
Appeared the man with whom she was once obsessed

"What the hell did I do?" he cried, as he looked at his ex who killed herself
Now he repeated what she did... only it was to himself.
