On September 13, 2009 the body of a deceased white male was found in a wooded location in the town of Windham, Maine. It is believed that the individual committed suicide by hanging and had been dead for a period of two weeks.

He was believed to have weighed around 200 pounds and stood at six feet tall. His age could have been between 18 to 30 years of age. He had strawberry blond/red hair that was short and straight as well as a scruffy goatee type beard. Eye color could not be determined due to decomposition of the body. It is likely that the victim was from out of state but might be from New England.

Items found on the victim include:

Silver framed, bottom rimless glasses.

A Navy Blue Boston Red Sox baseball Hat with Red letter "B" .

Black Dewalt Size 13 Work Boots.

A Woven leather belt used as ligature that had a brass colored buckle.

UPDATE: April 2012. He has been identified as 29 year old Kevin O'Brien from Westchester, Pennsylvania. An internet websleuth suggested that O'Brien could have been the unknown man as far back as February 2011. Not much else is known about O'Brien and why he chose Cumberland to end his life. The jacket is probably something purchased thru a linen/uniform truck service, company paid for. That may help to track down line of work. Any patches or labels on jacket? No wallet? It was a robbery/murder...
