10th Annual Downtown Denver Arts Festival
Located in the downtown Denver around the 16th Street Mall, the Downtown Denver Arts Festival is devoted to showcasing premier Colorado artists. This free event features over 125 artists, with over 150,000 people expected to attend. The art ranges from traditional to modern.
When: May 23-26, 2008 (Memorial Day Weekend)

CHUN Capital Hill People's Fair
Voted "Best Annual Festival - City, 2006" by Rocky Mountain News Readers, the CHUN Capital Hill People's Fair celebrates the "diverse Denver urban community and its residents." There's great art and a very hippy feel to the whole event.

Strawberry Days in Glenwood Springs
Strawberry Days is the oldest civic festival in Colorado. In 1897, when Glenwood Springs became a tightly woven community, the festival started as an opportunity for neighbors to share their strawberry harvest with one another. Over the years it has become a weekend event, filled with lots and lots of strawberries. The Artisan's Fair and the Entertainment Main Stage are among the most popular attractions. The Artisan's Fair offers hand thrown and painted pottery, handmade jewelry, mouth blown art glass, leather goods, wood worked furniture and accessories, and much more. Edwards Fine Art and Sculpture Festival
Award winning and nationally acclaimed artist from around the Southwestern United States can be found throughout this festival, located in the beautiful mountains of Edwards, Colorado. Common mediums for paintings include oils, acrylics, watercolors, and mixed media. The wide array of sculptures includes bronze, clay, blown glass, and mixed media. Along side the paintings and sculptures are rope baskets, handmade jewelry, handcrafted Indian jewelry, photography, and much more. Admission and parking are free.

Avon Fine Arts & Wine Affaire
Located in the beautiful town of Avon, 100 award-winning nationally acclaimed artists exhibit their latest artwork. Paintings, sculptures, blown glass, and handcrafted jewelry are among the many types are artwork at this exquisite festival. On top of that, the festival is complimented by Schlossadler International Wines. A wine tasting is available for $10, which includes 6 tasting tickets. Musical entertainment consists of Arvel Bird, a Native American musical group.

19th Annual Fiddlers Along the Arkansas
Old Time Fiddle Competition and Craft Show
Among the fiddle competition, which ranges from ages 0 - 60 plus, and other musical events, is the Fiddlers Along the Arkansas Craft Fair. The Kiwanis Club, who sponsors the event, requires that 50% of each seller's merchandise is handcrafted. If you get to the craft fair early, from 7am to 9am on Saturday and Sunday is a large Pancake Breakfast.

Crested Butte Arts Festival
"The mission of the Crested Butte Arts Festival is to encourage and promote the artistic and cultural environment of the Upper East River Valley." The Crested Butte Art Festival offers ceramics, drawings & graphics, fiber, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, paintings, photography, sculpture, wearable art and wood. For your younglings, children ages 2-12 can participate in hands on art activities. This Art Alley is opened from 10am - 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.
