Summer 2009 Bikini Trends Include Cut-outs, Topless and Monokinis

Spring has just recently sprung, but Summer bikini fun is already popping up on the runways, revealing the new hot trends for bikinis for Summer 2009. Designers from Marios Schwab to Max Azria are sending their girls storming the runways in hot, sleek, futuristic bikini looks for catching some healthy rays this coming Summer.

The hot trend for bikinis for Summer 2009 include solid colors with bold shapes, including one-shouldered and cutaway bikinis that have daring cuts designed to tantalize and tease with strategically revealed skin. Cutaway bikinis are great if you have a secret body part you're a little shameful about. With a cutaway bikini, you can choose the right cutaway area to show off your assets and hide the parts that make you feel less sexy.

Also hot on the runway this season is the monokini, but many runway fashion designers are taking a funky new twist with the monokini and giving it some cutout flair as well. Monokinis are great for the girl with the softer figure who doesn't want to risk the, er, exposure of a traditional bikini.

Be aware that in countries other then the United States, a monokini is more or less a speedo for women. If you need that spelled out for you, that means topless. If you have a perfect body and can get away with a full-on traditional bikini that is cut-out, by all means, rock that two piece this summer.
