When my daughter's and I were looking for wedding dresses, David's Bridal was our top choice to look at wedding dresses. Their high standards for beautiful dresses had price tags that wouldn't put us into debt.

The first dress is Style PE8120 ; it was featured on the Rachel Ray show. This is one gorgeous strapless dress. It has a small bow at the notched neckline. But don't just take my word for it. Click on it and you'll see. I'm certain you'll appreciate the classic lines with a hint of modern sophistication. The dress has an A-line style to it, always appropriate for most figure types. You can add your choice of sash to emphasize that hour glass figure. This summer wedding dress can be tailored to your liking. Whether or not you want a train or not is entirely up to you. Now that's the kind of service I've come to expect from David's Bridal.

Another favorite dress when we were shopping was Style CD278. This satin gown is sleeveless with a plunging neckline. The folds of the fabric fall towards the cinched waistline, this ends in a bow in the back. The back of the dress sweeps down to a chapel length train which can be bustled up for dancing at the reception. The dress reminds me of a dress that a Grecian Goddess would wear. I certain any bride wearing this dress is certain to feel like a Goddess.

Did you envision yourself wearing something more traditional with lots of ruffles and tulle sweeping across the train of the back of your dress, making you look like you had been immortalized as having just stepped off the wedding cake. Then I have the dress for you. It is Style CH515. This gown is extremely tasteful and not a bit over the top. It has lovely bead work, optional sleeves, and the train is optional as well. Your soon to be husband will be dreamy eyed when he sees you in this number.

The next two gowns that we looked at are in David's new lux for less collection. You can view these gowns at http://www.davidsbridal.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Category_-49987998. I am partial to number one due to its classic A-line style, chapel length train, and who could miss its simple elegant resemblance to an understated Cinderella's ballgown. You can't miss when what you are wearing makes you feel like a princess. Number three is my final choice for the top five gowns of the summer of 2009 from David's Bridal collection. The halter top stands out from the other gowns. It is a bit more causal than the rest but no less beautiful. The woman that would wear this dress is the type of women that has self confidence and poise. She follows her heart when it comes to fashion trends and wears what she looks best in. I can easily see this gown at a destination wedding.

David's Bridal gowns can be purchased throughout the USA and on the internet. I've included their phone number so you can locate the store nearest you. That number is

1-877-693-BRIDE. Their website is listed in the paragraph above this so I don't feel the need to repeat it here. Happy gown hunting.

*This website had pictures of some lovely gowns which is why we choose to shop at David's Bridal.
