Summer Arrives

when summer arrives

The summer breeze

just sit outside and breath

Wind blows softly through your hair

nothing better then the warm summer air

Sun heats your skin

warming you up within

Greenness of the leaves

the scent of every blossom

Everything so clear

bringing laughter and cheer

Drinking lemonade, tasting it upon your tongue

makes you feel so young

Looking through the sprinklers

seeing its brilliant colorful rainbow

wishing they spray a little upon you

sprinkle this way

it will make my day

The sun is getting hotter

as I watch the Douglas fir

the strong durable timber

moving my chair into its shade

awaiting for the day to fade

The sun has settle down

with darkness all around

A beautiful site to see

the moon would be set free

Lighting the sky with beautiful colors

enjoying the evening outdoors

its better then doing my chores
