During the year the Roswell Recreation Department runs different level baseball leagues twice a year in the fall and spring. They have recreational baseball for those who want to play for fun and learn the fundamentals. They have a select league that is tryout only and more competitive then the recreational league. If your kid needs to be totally immersed in baseball maybe the travel league is for him. These leagues are held for kids 8-18 and are a great way for you and your child to bond with a common interest that is both healthy and is a topic of conversation for a lifetime.
Summer Camps at Roswell Recreation Department
This summer there will be recreational as well as advanced baseball camps for those kids who want to improve their skills and have a good time. They are a week long and cost $126-$150 for residents and $189-$225 for non-residents depending on which camp you select.
Highly trained coaches who emphasize the fundamentals of the game run recreational camps. Major league and former major league players run the advanced camps. Whichever camp your youth is interested in they are worth the money and are enjoyed by coaches and players alike.
