Summer BBQ Recipe for Corn on the Cob!

Sonja Hernandez
Everyone looks forward to the backyard BBQ's. It's a great way to escape heating up the kitchen during those triple digit summer months!

Here is an easy to prepare Corn on the Cob recipe! You can find great deals for corn at your local grocery store or farmers market. You can usually pick up about 6 ears for $1.00. White corn is a personal favorite, due to its tenderness and sweet flavor.

Begin by pulling back the husks to expose the silk and carefully pull out, and discard the silk. You will set the ears aside with the corn exposed.

You will need the following ingredients:

1 stick of melted butter, or margarine for the health conscious!
2 medium sized limes, cut in half.
Salt, pepper and parmesan cheese.

Using a basting brush, coat each ear of corn with the melted butter. Squeeze some lime over the corn and then sprinkle on the salt, pepper and parmesan cheese. Pull the husks back over, covering the corn and wrap each ear in aluminum foil. Be sure to pinch the ends tightly, so the juices don't escape. Place the wrapped corn on a pre-heated grill for about 20 minutes. Be sure to evenly cook the corn by turning it occasionally.

Once the corn is ready to come off the grill, you will remove the foil and peel back the husk. You are now ready to sink your teeth into this savory, zesty, tender ear!
