Post a CommentGreat idea IF the child wants to. I was in Boy Scouts and did NOT like to go to summer camp for 2 weeks. The kids in the my troop had their own close friends and the Scout Masters were not keen or focused on how children thought or respected others. They were manly men who focused on merit badges, tying knots and their own kids in the troop. My parents should have looked at this closer, but in those days...parents thought leaders of institutions knew best and left everything up to them to decide. I hated it! :-)
My aunt and uncle lived in Elgin for years...I visited them a couple times...nice place:)
