Alyssa Ast
Due to the fact Kingman, Arizona is such a small town located a good distance from any large city, the town lacks Summer camps and day camps for children. However, Kingman does have a great local Summer program, "Trips and Excursions." This program is offered to everyone, even children. During the Summer months children can take part in fun and exciting trips to new places and adventures. The agenda for this Summer camp is packed full of adventures all children will love.

Basic Information

While anyone is welcome in the Trip and Excursion program in Kingman, certain trips may not be suitable for all children. Some of the trips can last two to three days and adult supervision may be required. It is recommended that children under 18 do not attend any of the over night trips with out an adult present.

Prices for these events vary depending on what activity it due to occur. Reservations for events can be made with a 25 percent deposit on the trip. The balance of payments must be paid no later than 15 business days before a scheduled event. Full refunds will be given if cancellation occurs 15 business days before the event. If cancellation occurs within the 15 day time line, 50 percent of the refund will be forfeited.

Participation in the Trips and Excursions program is limited to a first come, first serve basis. A minimum requirement for each trip must be met no later than five days before the trip or the event will be cancelled. For this reason, it's important to register for the events early.
