Summer Camps in Tennessee

Summer camp is such a fond memory for so many children. If you are looking to enroll your child into a summer camp, then it is still not too late! YMCA's Camp Ocoee
This summer camp is located in south east Tennessee in Ocoee, TN. Camp costs range from $515 to $1030. Children will take advantage of all the normal camp activities. Also, you can spend additional money to have your child be able to take advantage of other special activities like water skiing, paint-ball, caving, and more.

La Petite Summer Camps
La Petite is known as a day care center for infants, through school age children. Some thing that you may not be aware of is that they also offer summer camps for school age children. La Petite takes an interesting approach to summer camps by having different camps all with different themes. some of the themes for this summer's camps are nature, cooking, performance, among others. Mountain Adventure Camp
The mountains in Tennessee are such a gorgeous site! The Mountain Adventure Guides camp is geared toward younger teens between the ages of 13-15. The wonderful part of this camp is how it helps to teach your teen independence, confidence, and cooperation in a non-competitive environment. The cost of this camp is $1250 for a one week session and $1850 for a two week session

All Star Sports Camp
Camp All Star is located at the Baylor School in Chattanooga, TN. The focus for this camp is on sports. They have a variety of activities surrounding all different sports. This camp is also for older children, but if your child is big into sports this could be the perfect camp for them! A 2 week session at this camp costs $1790, a 4 week sessions costs $3490, and a 6 week session costs $5190.

Computer Camps
There are lots of computer themed camps available and held at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. The costs range from $300 to $1129. The camps range from game creation, to programming, to web design. These camps are designed especially for certain age groups between ages 7 and 17.

East TN Children's Hospital
These camps are for children with special needs. This children's hospital offers these camps to help their patients to bond with their medical staff outside of the hospital. They are also able to enjoy normal camp activities such as horse back riding, canoing, arts and crafts, and swimming. In addition to all of these benefits the children are also able to build relationships with other children who are dealing with some of the same issues as they are going through.
