The summer harvest gives us such great vegetables to use in recipes, and use them we should. Their fresh-picked taste, earthy aroma, and bright colors are a refreshing, welcome break from the heavier starches so popular in winter. Summer vegetables restore a healthy balance of vitamins and minerals to our bodies as well as help us in controlling our weight, and Summer Confetti Salad is an easy way to reap the benefits of summer vegetables.
Summer Confetti Salad with Marzetti Light Ranch Dressing is a celebration of all the fresh summer vegetables available to us. Their colorful mini-pieces of crunchy vegetables remind us of the confetti of Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day parades. Cucumbers, carrots, celery, radishes, squash, orange bell pepper, and red onions all add their individual colors and textures to Summer Confetti Salad .
Upon first tasting Marzetti Light Ranch Dressing, one notices a bold but not overpowering buttermilk flavor not found in most typical ranch dressings. The sweet and tart flavor of Marzetti Light Ranch Dressing wakes up your palate, and garlic and spices add zest to the overall taste. As served in the Summer Confetti Salad, Marzetti Light Ranch Dressing contrasts well against meat and chicken, and is especially nice served with barbecued meat and chicken.
Marzetti Light Ranch Dressing's rich flavor belies the fact that this dressing is 60% lower in calories and 75% lower in fat than regular ranch dressing - always a good idea when trying to get or maintain that trim bikini body.
