Summer Events at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden

Carol Rucker
The Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens has been a must-see travel destination since 1875. It's a 500-species animal habitat right in the middle of the city. Gardens boast 3,000 plant varieties. Lush green spaces provide an elegant backdrop for family picnicking or communing with animals. It's peer-rated one of the best zoos in the country.

Summertime brings lots of opportunities for entertainment, education, and family fun. You might even learn a thing or two from Zoo Director, Thane Maynard. He's appeared on national talk shows and his "90 Second Naturalist" radio spots air nationwide. There's also an exciting schedule of summer events to choose from.
