Visitors from the United States and Canada come to Great Falls to join in the Lewis and Clark Festival, held at the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center right near the Missouri River. July 6^th through 8^th, enjoy a black powder salute by the Lewis & Clark Honor Guard, a Beans, BBX, and Blarney Dinner with the Corps, an Art Gala Art Auction, children's camps, hikes, exhibits, lectures, and a recreation of an encampment right on the river. The Last Chance Stampede & Fair in Helena, taking place from July 25 - July 29, 2007, is not just for cowboys. This event, held at the Lewis and Clark County Fairgrounds offers plenty of great acts for the entire family to enjoy. Michael Mezmer, the hypnotist, performs two shows a day, and Pippi the Clown brings her pratfalls and balloon animals to the grounds. There is also food, games, and more. It's not just an art show set in the west. The Western Rendezvous of Art actually has a focus on western-themed art as well.
