The Gettysburg Festival Celebrating America June 18-28
The Gettysburg Festival celebrates America's contributions to the arts in historic Gettysburg. The festival features music, dance, theatre and visual arts. There will be a diverse selection of musical styles, including brass bands, jazz, orchestra, chamber music, choral music and American Folk music. While enjoying the sights and sounds of the arts you can enjoy dining on creative cuisine. There are over 60 events scheduled over the ten day period of the festival.

Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire Weekends August 8 - October 25
The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire at Mount Hope Estate and Winery is a bustling 16th century style marketplace in a romantic era. The Shire of Mount Hope is a 35 acre Elizabethan village with hundreds of costumed merrymakers, entertainers, musicians and artisans. Queen Elizabeth will visit the shire and stroll along the market place lanes. The working village features 13 stages of entertainment, 21 royal kitchens, over 90 shows daily and artisans who demonstrate and sell their ancient crafts. Every day there will be samples of award winning wines and Swashbuckler ales brewed on site. There will be a different theme for each weekend, including (in order) The Grande Arrival, Chivalry & Romance, Pyrate Invasion, World Carnival, Children's Fantasy, Scottish & Irish Weekend, Heroes of the Realm, Oktoberfest, Pyrate's Return, Wine Harvest and Halloween Daze and Spooky Knights. Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival and Artisan Marketplace Weekends August 22 - September 27
The Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival takes you back to the era of King Henry in Morelandshire. The festival recreates the era when kings and queens strolled the lanes of the village marketplace in elaborate royal garb. Dine on the festival food, browse through the arts and crafts section and enjoy the revelry and entertainment. Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival is just southeast of Pittsburgh in West Newton, PA.
