The Los Angeles Film Festival (LA Film Fest) has been a key Los Angeles attraction for the past 16 years. This year the LA Film Fest runs from June 17th - 27th, in downtown Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Film Festival is a great mix of local entertainment and international art, allowing movie lovers to watch films they wouldn't normally see in their local theater, and also giving sneak peaks of U.S. films that might be the next number one box office hit.

This year the LA Film Fest will present at least 200 features, shorts, and music videos from more than 40 countries. The cost of admission varies depending on the package you buy, however you can also buy individual tickets for $12, but be sure to verify the venue of the screening as screening rooms vary.

LA Film Fest expected film highlights include:

The Tilman Story, A Pat Tillman documentary, directed by Amir Bar-Lev, and narrated by Josh Brolin.

The Kids Are All Right,
opening night feature about two teenaged children conceived by artificial insemination who get the notion to seek out their birth father. Staring Annette Bening, Julianne Moore, Mark Ruffalo.

Revolucion,
showcasesten of Mexico's finest young directors mark the centenary of the Mexican Revolution in this omnibus of ten short films, documentary and fiction.

There are also opportunities to be a part of the fun festive atmosphere for free. Throughout Los Angeles, the LA Film Fest will screen free films, including: Los Angeles, a doc on Skid Row residents including a former Olympic runner.
