Summer Hot Dogs! Grill it. Serve it. Tailgate. Eat it at a Baseball Game. America Loves Hot Dogs!

Here are some facts about hot dogs that will wet your whistle.
More than 25 million hot dogs are served up at baseball games each year.
According to the National Hot Dog and Sausage Council, New Yorkers consume more hot dogs than any other city in the world.
From Memorial Day to Labor Day, Americans consume 7 billion hot dogs which breaks down to 818 hot dogs consumed every second during the summer.
Sixty percent of Americans say they like their hot dogs grilled.
Mustard is the favorite hot dog topping among Americans, year after year beating out sauerkraut and chili and cheese and onions and ketchup.
Whether you call it hot dog, frank, frankfurter, weiner or wienie, it all seems to have started in Frankfurt Germany in the year 1484.
My personal Favorite: Sabrett hot dogs
If you love hot dogs, and you have ever been to New York or Long Island, then you know the best hotdogs in the world are Sabrett. Sabrett hot dogs get their fine taste from their natural casing and the fact that they are all-beef frankfurters. They also have a unique hickory-smoked flavor.
You will see loads of hot dog push cart stands in New York city and along the Long Island Expressway , but always look for the Sabrett sign if you want the dog of all hot dogs. I don't know if part of the great taste is how long they sit in the water, but whatever it is, a road side or sidewalk Sabrett is always better than sabretts you cook yourself.
Of course one of the condiments that sets off a Sabrett that can't be touched by any other hot dog is their world famous sweet onions in sauce. If you don't live in New York, you can buy it online by going here:

A Sabrett is a world class hot dog that stands out because it is the whole package of taste from bun to dog to tasty unique trimmings. The Sabrett casing keeps the hot dog crisp on the outside and filled with juices in the inside.New York is the best of all cities when it comes to hot dogs. The quality and quantity of excellent choices is impressive. But nothing beats or eats like a Sabrett.
But Sabretts aside, hot dogs are loved across America.
