People picnicking and having fun
By the ocean or by the pool
Everyone is trying to stay cool
Children laughing and playing in the park
Catching lightning bugs after dark
Summer is when the world seems to thrive
And beautiful flowers and plants come alive
Summer means vacations and time to spend with family
And everyone seems so happy and carefree
Outside relaxing or having a barbeque
Summer has so many things to do
Farmers begin cutting and baling hay
So to save it for a winter's day
Summer is here time to get outside
Just use plenty of sunscreen so you do no get fried
