Summer Restaurants in Houston, Texas

Sally Ann Murphy
Summer dining in Houston, Texas means large patios, delicious seafood and pasta, refreshing cocktails, live entertainment (whether its music or people watching) and much more. If you are looking for some great restaurants for a summer dining experience in Houston, Texas, try one of these great places below.

The Grove. Lamar Street. Located downtown, you can stop by this Houston, Texas restaurant for summer outdoor dining any day of the week, and for brunch on Sundays. I like The Grove because they grow their own herbs and purchase produce and other items from local farmers. Their menu features steaks, seafood, sandwiches and much more. While sitting outside this summer at The Grove, make sure you order their Treehouse Sangria or a Pomegranate Margarita. For more information on this Houston, Texas restaurant, click here.

Ciao Bello. San Felipe. Located in the Galleria, this laid-back Italian restaurant is the perfect place to go for outside dining in the summer. Choose from red snapper, shrimp, crab, and tons and tons of pasta (made by hand). Their shellfish linguini is especially good, as are the pizza and the desserts. This Houston, Texas restaurant also has a fabulous wine list. For more information on Ciao Bello, click here.

Taco Milagro. Kirby Drive. There's nothing like sitting outside in the summer with a margarita in hand, and you can count on one of the best at this Houston, Texas Mexican restaurant. Taco Milagro has excellent shrimp fajitas, and their chicken tamales are also very good. The outside patio is very pretty, and the drinks here are fabulous (the perfect drinks to sip outside this summer are their Paloma, a Tequila cocktail, and their Fruit Margarita). They have live music from 9 pm until 1 am every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. For more information on this Houston, Texas restaurant click here.
