Basketball, Golf and Gymnastics

Basketball, golf and gymnastics are favorite sports for kids of all ages. Summer sport camps for Iowa kids help them to learn more about and improve skills in regards to the sport.

The following information on these three camps may help you with these particular camps. It may also help you to know what questions to ask prior to sending your child to another type of camp.

Discuss with your child how they would like to spend their summer. Perhaps their chances for scholarships and the ability to be seen by college coaches would enhance their possibility of attending college for less money.

Some kids need to work and do not have time for these types of camps.

Perhaps a day camp could be found closer to home. They could still upgrade their skills and make new friends.

Some parents send their kids to camp without truly reading and understanding what the camp is about. If your child does not truly enjoy bouncing a basketball, hours on end, try another type of camp.
