Summer Sports Camps for Kids in Sunnyvale, California

The City of Sunnyvale offers many different types of sports camps for this upcoming summer. The daily activities vary for each age group and are offered all summer long. These are day camps where the children return home every day. If you are a resident of Sunnyvale, CA, then there is a discount, but if you want to join from a neighboring city, you will need to pay a non-resident price. Please see below for the different activities, age ranges, dates and price ranges. Maybe one will be a perfect match for you and your family.

Skyhawks Baseball Camp
(Age range is 5-12 years)

Each child will learn the fundamentals of baseball (catching, hitting, fielding, etc.) while also learning how to work as a team and have team spirit.
Location: Cupertino Middle School

7-12 year olds: June 21st- June 25th (M-F) and August 9th- August 13th.
9:00am to 1:00pm
$140 (residents), $160 (non residents) per week session.

5-8 year olds: July 26th- July 30th (M-F)
9:00am- 12:00pm
$120 (residents), $140 (non residents)

Skyhawks Basketball Camp
(Age range 7-12 years)

No matter your skill level, this camp is good for everyone. It focuses on the fundamentals of basketball and how to improve your skills in ball handling, rebounding, shooting, defense, etc.
Location: Sunnyvale Middle School

The dates available for this camp are: June 28th- July 2nd, July 5th- July 9th, July 12th- July 16th, and July 26th - July 30th. All sessions are from 9:00am to 3:00pm, M-F. The cost is $150 for Sunnyvale residents and $170 for non residents.

Junior Golf Camps
(Age range 8-16 years)

This camp is not for beginners. Some knowledge of the game is required and the skills learned include etiquette, rules, course play, pitching, chipping and putting. Participants should bring their own set of clubs.
Location: Sunken Gardens Driving Range and Golf Course
Registration begins March 16th at the Sunken Gardens Golf Shop.

The dates for this camp are July 19th- August 1st (Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesdays) from 10:00am to 2:00pm. This is for Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced levels. The cost is the same for residents and non residents: $330 per person.
