Summer Sunlight Tritina

Julie Wimmer
Summer sunlight produces warm and thoughtful rays,
All the while kids play in the cool, refreshing lake water.
I watch with a smile as this time is relished and enjoyed.

We all remember those carefree days we enjoyed
Whilst the warmth of sun cast down its strong rays.
My brother and I would run inside for a cold glass of water.

Kids spend oodles of their time playing in pool water,
And that is something as an adult I have enjoyed.
I still delight in the radiant sunlight and its rays.

Sun rays trickle over water and shall always be enjoyed.
