Founded by professional legendary surfer Charley Baldwin, and a New Smyrna Beach/Flagler Avenue fixture for over twenty years, this is the place where both visitors and locals can get their surf gear, and they give lessons as well, though you may need to call ahead to see if they accept children for summer classes.

Red Dog Surf Shop

Also located on Flagler Avenue, beachside. Hard to miss red building amongst the proper southern Victorians lining Flagler Avenue. Close to the draw bridge, once one crosses over it from the mainland on the right. From beachside, it is on the left before the bridge. Check out their website.
