2. The Lake Erie Islands, located in Ohio, offer many exciting and recreational activities to enjoy. Put-n-bay (South Bass Island), Kelleys Island, and Middle Bass Island make up the Lake Erie Islands. Take a stroll or a swim at the beach. Enjoy an overnight stay at a luxurious cabin, cottage or resort located on South Bass Island. You will also find places on these islands to play miniature golf, arcade games, video games, and go-kart racing.
The islands also have playgrounds, golf courses, fishing areas, and plenty of boating options. You will also find many amazing restaurant with delicious food. The nightlife on these islands will add spice to visit to these great islands. On South Bass Island, you will also find many scientific attractions including a butterfly house, Chocolate Museum, and many more.
3. Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, the water park capital of the World, is definitely an alluring city for a summer vacation. The Kalahari Resort Water Park and the Lost Rios Water Park are to great places to splash around in town. However, Noah's Ark Water Park, the largest water park in America, is the best place in Wisconsin Dells to have some wet fun. Pirate's Cove Family Fun Center and the Timber Falls Adventure Park offer some great dry fun including go-karts, miniature golf, batting cages, play areas, and much more.
For some gambling and gaming fun, stop by the Ho-Chunk Casino. This casino never closes, so you can visit it at any hour. Shopping is always in order and the Tanger Outlet Center offers a great variety of stores for you to find everything you need. A relaxing game of golf is a great way to end a vacation and the Spring Brook Golf Course offers challenging fun for people of all ages.
4. St. Louis, Missouri, the Gateway City, is home to the tallest monument in the world, The Gateway Arch, which stands at over 600 feet high. The St. Louis Zoo is home to many of the world's most amazing creatures and is located in the gorgeous Forest Park. The Saint Louis Science Center is a great place to explore the world and the science that surrounds you. At this museum, you will find many hands-on exhibits, an Omnimax Theater, and a Planetarium.
Six Flags St. Louis offers an amazing park to ride roller coaters, splash around, and have a good time. The Adrenaline Zone is a fun place to enjoy a game or two of laser tag. St. Louis also offers a lot of places to enjoy gaming. Test your luck at the Harrah's St. Louis Casino, President Casino, or one of the many other casinos in this city.
5. Chicago, Illinois is the largest city in the Midwest. This city is home to the world famous Sears Tower. You can enjoy the view of the gorgeous city from the observation deck of the Sears Tower, which is over 1,000 feet high. The Navy Pier also has many great attractions, including Pier Park and the Amazing Chicago's Funhouse Maze.
You can also see many of nature's beautiful animals at the Lincoln Park Zoo. Chicago has many great water parks. The first indoor water park ever opened in Chicago, CoCo Key Water Park Resort, offers a tropical environment to take a dip, play some games, and have some fun. Chicago Architecture Foundation offers a variety of cruises for you to enjoy a look at the fabulous architecture that this city has to offer.
