This theme is also great for a budget because the wedding reception can take place in the backyard of a family member or friend and most of the items needed will already be owned. Wedding colors can be as varied as you can imagine because there are so many colors available when it comes to summer décor and barbeque sets. A friend of mine and her husband actually had a baseball themed wedding and I thought it was very original, it was also apparently very low budget but you would have never known. Couples that have fallen in love over the game of baseball will think this is the neatest summer wedding theme ever, and it is so much fun for family and friends. Generally we are used to seeing the groom's cake only having the sports theme, but in this case the main cake can be displayed with the colors of a favorite theme. Pennants, baseballs and bats can be used to decorate and wedding invitations and the programs can be printed out in the form of tickets. For wedding favors the bride and groom can sign baseballs for each guest.
