Summer Winds: A Poem for Summer

Bridgitte Williams
When summer comes, we feel and enjoy the sun. Heat, passion and the cool shade make for some great muses. Here is a poem for Summer.

Summer Winds

Summer Poetry

The sweet Summer winds
blow by, gently, again...

Heat, just beginning, setting in,
to begin.

A careless caress
of mist...

Rising humidity sets...
along with the endless sunset.

Passion, it's rosy glow,
in bared skin, does show.

Naked and free,
slowly dipping, into a cool creek.

A magic moonlit Summer,
I slowly go under...

Wet and lovingly,
embracing the sizzling summer breeze.

Shining, enjoying
and smiling.

Summer night stars shine
with lonely eyes.

I look above
and wish for love.

Owls and mocking birds laugh
but, I know how long Summer lasts.

Long Summer days fly by
but, not as quickly as those Summer nights.

A hot whisper, as soft as a kiss.
Don't miss this.

Shhh. Be quiet.
Watch Summer fly.

Thanks for reading my summer poetry.
