Summertime Beauty Tips

With heat and humidity at its highest and weather wreaking havoc across the nation, hair and beauty take a ride in the back seat when it comes to staying cool and staying calm. But just how to we master our beauty tips and look and feel our best when weather conditions seem to be at their worst? Well here are some great solutions to looking and feeling your best this season and we think you'll think - THEY'RE COOL.

1. Ponytails are definitely in this season! But be careful not to gather too taut. Keep ponytails loose and gathered with a padded rubber band so as not to cause extra strain and breakage on hair.
   
2. Avoid excess heat and styling on hair this season. Keep it cool with cool diffusing when you blow-dry hair this season to avoid putting too much heat on hair.
3. Consult with your salon professional about which products and tools you should be using during hot summer months and transitioning into fall.
4. Don't self prescribe. So many people get caught up in retail sections of department stores and buy things they may not even need.
5. If you're traveling or on vacation, I recommend sharing the load and diving products up amongst the travelers so people aren't weighted down with styling tools and products.
