While summer time means heat and trying to cool off. Just because you are by the pool or at the beach doesn't mean you can't look great, feel great and do something good for you skin too!

Looking great while swimming and after being in the water can be stressful and sometime near impossible. The best foundation to use is Revlon New Complexion One-Step Compact Makeup. While it's not advertised and waterproof it stays on in the water and has an SPF 15 so it does double duty!

Need some on the go SPF? Hawaiian Tropic has a stick of Sun block that fits in your purse and you just rub it on no greasy feeling!

You may love the beach but salt water takes a tough toll on every one! Many people end up with cracked hands so they tend to stay away from the beach. The best treatment to cracked skin from salt water is a paraffin wax, lotion or cream treatment, you can do it at home and just pit the wax on before bed and cover your hands with mitts wake up refreshed!

We all know the benefits of waterproof mascara. You can swim and sweat and it won't run, but at the end of the day when you take you makeup off it can be next to impossible to remove! Try Cover Girl Fantastic Lash its water proof but comes off with makeup remover!

Salt water really can irritate freshly shaved skin BUT we all like to shave if we know we are going to be wearing that itty bitty bathing suit. The solution? Shave the night before and use a tons of lotion on your legs after you shave this heals the skin so you can skip the irritation!

When you are in the pool the chlorine can get into your hair and dry it out and damage it, even turn it green! Salt water will dry out your hair too. The best solution to prevent this and keep your hair Soft, silky, and shiny is to wet you hair before entering the pool or saltwater. This will stop you hair from soaking up a harmful chemicals or from the sun drying it out and leaving you with shiny healthy hair at the end of the day!

With these few tips you can enjoy the summer heat by the pool and still look great!
