Papillion, NE 68046
United States of America
The amphitheater is located in a beautiful and quiet family friendly location and although it isn't too far from Highway 370 traffic noise is not a problem.
The "Sumtur Amphitheater" features 350 fixed seats and also grassy hill side areas just perfect for sitting. This area accommodates 1500 people and the landscaping is beautifully maintained. You will see how the City of Papillion takes pride in their community.
During the spring and summer months the "Sumtur Amphitheater" hosts many free events including a concert series ("Swinging in Summer") which runs from May 27th through July 1st and a "Starlight Movie Series" which runs May 21st through August 13th. Concerts are scheduled to start at 7:30 pm and movies are scheduled to start at 9:30 pm, but gates open at 6:00 pm with live pre-show entertainment starting at 7:00 pm.

1. "Up"- May 21st
2. "Madagascar 2"- Jun 11th
3. "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs"- June 25th

Parking is plentiful and includes handicapped spaces on the northeast side of the parking lot near the concession area or in the main parking lot. There is a wheelchair ramp on the northeast side of the stage and there are spaces available in the fixed seating areas. There is additional parking available at the Papillion - La Vista South High School which isn't far from the amphitheater.
Although you aren't allowed to bring outside food and drink there are concessions available with reasonable costs which taste great; and for safety reasons there is no smoking and pets aren't allowed in the amphitheater.
In addition to the entertainment you can rent the facility through the Recreation Department by calling them at 402-597-2041 or log onto www.sumtur.org.
