Sun Burn Pain Relief

First and foremost we know that we should always apply sunscreen before going outside.
But summer is here and sometimes sunscreen gets skipped, washed away from swimming or sweated off. The sad fact is it happens and when it does it is also a fact that there will be sizzling sunburn to deal with.
There really is nothing worse then having someone you love in pain and not knowing how to help them. I am always looking for and praying about healthy natural alternatives for my family and myself. And I have discovered some no fail ways of dealing with sunburns in away that is easy and produce relatively fast results. I hope you never have to deal with sunburn but if and when it does happen here are some tried and true remedies that have helped in our family.

Noxzema

When I was a kid I suffered through several sunburns and this was one of the first ever products that gave me easy fast relief from sunburn pain, which I had ever experienced. I try to always keep a jar in the cabinet, for those just in case moments.
It is easy to apply for quick cooling relief. Noxzema is not a cure but it does help cool the burn down fast and gives you very effective relief from the burning.

Apple Cider Vinegar

I wonder sometimes if there is anything that apple cider vinegar will not help. I have heard some scorns about it, but I believing in trying a remedy first and then deciding whether it works or not. And I have found that apple cider vinegar works for a variety of ailments and problems, one of those being sunburn.
As soon as you get out of a bath or shower, apply apple cider or other vinegar to the burn. You can also soak a cotton dish towel (I like the flour sack type) and then gently lay it on the burn like a compress. It dissolves the heat and leaves you a nice tan.

Olive Oil

Fill up the bath tube with water and add olive oil, then soak in it. Relieves the painful burn, leaves a nice tan plus the added bonus of soft skin.

I know these remedies may sound too simple to work but they do work. And you probably have one or more of these products already in your home. These simple effective products will save you money and time while relieving sun burn pain.
