My evil twin has been acting up lately. The coffee table is buried under a mess of papers and books dating back to the Mesozoic era. The laundry was done unsorted with pockets full of pens and sticky notes. And the dishes have just been piled into the cupboards with no regard to their sizes and types.

It is not my fault. I am innocent. It is the work of my evil twin.

We all have an evil twin. They share our living space with us. They attend the same classes that we do, and work at the same job. And all of our friends have met them. They cause us no end of grief.

But no one believes that we have an evil twin. They look exactly like us. They act just like we do. In fact, some people insist that our evil twin is us.

How can that be? Could we really be our own evil twin?

Leo (July 23 to August 22): The good Leo is a charming confident individual. They are ambitious, yet generous with the spoils. They have no problem with being in the hot seat of leadership.

The bad Leo insists on being the leader, so that they can be in the spotlight. They can be cruel tyrants, full of pomp and sermons. They are the archetype of the evil boss.

Virgo (August 23 to September 22): The good Virgo twin is a friendly, peace-loving person. They are both scientific and diplomatic. If you want something organized, they are your go-to person. They are neat and well-dressed.

When the evil twin of Capricorn shows up, people end up walking the plank. They have big egos and climb the social ladder using others to step on. They also hoard junk.

Aquarius (January 20 to February 18): Perhaps the most inventive of the sun signs, the good twin of Aquarius has one foot in tomorrow. They are willing to work hard to improve the world.

The evil twin of Aquarius is eccentric and seems a little off. If they are not careful, the evil twin can end up believing that everything is controlled by a conspiracy; tin foil hats are optional.

Pisces (February 19 to March 20): The good twin of Pisces is the humanitarian of the zodiac. They are generous with charity and sympathy. They understand the sacrifices you have made.

The evil twin of Pisces feels misunderstood. They talk a lot and hold out no hope for any of us. Their plans end up being unrealistic and impractical.
