Sunday Sunrise
Sunday sunrise, roseate glow,
O'er the woodlands shrouded in snow,
Unveils a splend'rous winter sight
As the day overtakes the night -
Early morning winter tableau...

Sun's rays casting morning shadows
Upon the newly fallen snow.
They bathe the earth in rosy light -
Sunday sunrise.
As the day breaks... nature's rondeau:
A song of sky and sun and snow,
Of pinks and grays and brilliant white;
A midwinter morning delight -
A new day's promise, world aglow...
Sunday sunrise.
