Over the years people have invented all different types of sunless tanning also called self tanners. Sunless tanners are commonly sold as creams, lotions, and gels. Sunless tanners are safe for you and will look good if you apply them right. Some sunless tanning creams can leave your skin looking streaky and bad. If applied right this usually doesn't happen. I've tried these before and I had a pretty good outcome. Some places were streaky but all in all, it looked pretty good and I had a massively dark tan without stepping into a tanning bed. For a good sunless tan, I would recommend the Neutrogena Sunless Tanning Spray Micro Mist. This can be bought at drug stores and department stores such as Wal-Mart or Target. Always remember to wear gloves when you are using self tanners or you will have really bad discoloration on your hands.
Spray Tanning has become very popular these days. It is offered at beauty salons and tanning salons all across America. The airbrush tanning system can be found at numerous ebay sites for very low prices. I would recommend the spray tanning over self tanners because with spray tanning you get an all over tan with no streaks and it usually lasts for two weeks or more. Some self tanners can give you skin an orange tint whereas spray tanning will give you a more bronzer look. Try looking for salons in your area that provide spray tanning. Mystic Tan is one of the more well known spray tanners. Visit their website at www.mystictan.com to find a location near you.
So if you are trying to decide whether to use self tanners or a spray tan, keep these ideas and tips into mind. Both of them are great ways to have bronzed skin without hitting the tanning beds, but some ways are just better than others.
