Sunny Summer Time: A Poem for Summer

Summer Poetry

Bridgitte Williams
Under the summer sun, I seek shade.
A tall glass of ice filled lemonade.
A cool pool in which people play.
A shady riverbank to spend the day.
An ocean filled with frolicking waves.
Cherishing coconut scented sun screen shades.
Ah, the sweet sunny summer time.
Stay cool as wicked temperatures rise.
And when you dream that summer time dream.
May it be filled with cold ice cream.
