Sunnyvale Parents- Halloween Candy Recall
Neighborhood: Sunnyvale
San Jose, CA 94087
United States of America
Every year we worry about what our kids will bring home in their trick-or-treat bags. We hear stories about tainted candy, sharp objects, and now, bad candy that may have been sold in local Sunnyvale stores.

The candy at issue is Mega Pops brand lollipops--they may contain "traces of foreign particles" that have reportedly lead to an undisclosed injury. Both package sizes--14-ounce and 28-ounce bags--are involved in the recall. Details of the nature of the recall can be found by calling Colombina S.A. at 888-317-3686. Check your kids Halloween candy for Mega Pops. If you bought mega pops from a local Sunnyvale store, contact them for a refund.
