Sunset Station is a great local casino located in Henderson, Nevada. Even if you are not from Nevada, it's worth a trip. It is about 20 minutes away from the popular Las Vegas Strip. The casino is located on Sunset and Stephanie, it is huge, and you cannot miss it. Sunset Station is about 10 years old but it is really clean and well maintained. Inside the casino you will also find a movie theater and a bowling alley. There is also a Kid's Quest if you would like to drop off your little ones.

The first time that you go to Sunset Station I would recommend you get a Player's card. If you are staying at the hotel they will offer you one upon check in. If you are not staying in the hotel you can visit the Reward's Center and they will issue one to you for free. As a new member, you will receive free bonus money put on your card. What that means is that you will have a random amount of money (minimum of $3.00) placed on your card upon getting your card which use can use on the clot machines. You will set up a four digit PIN number to access it. When you sit down at the slot machine of your choice, you insert your card and follow the instructions on the screen to use your free slot play. Every bet you make, your slot play will slowly be credited to you. All for free!

Another benefit to the Player's Card is once you have achieved 500 points or more in a 90 day period you are eligible for a Gold card in which you can get even more perks. They also have a café which offers an inexpensive sit down meal where they have daily specials for even better deals. For every 1,000 points you earn on your card you also earn $1 in comp money to use at all food places.

The gambling at this casino is incredible. They have so many slots to choose from in all denominations you are sure to never get bored. They also have quite a few table games to please all. They do have a poker room but I think that it is kind of small. You can rack up quite a few points by playing in there though.

Besides the great casino, you can visit the bowling alley or theater for more entertainment. The bowling alley is very nice and offers discounts to bowl at off times. The movie theater is good, small theaters but several screens to play all the hottest flicks. I would recommend getting to the theater early because the line does back up a bit.
