Super Bowl 45 Had the Worst Half Time, Commercials, and Anthem; Super Bowl 45 Make History for Being so Bad?
Christina Aguilera's Mangled Anthem
Let's discuss The Half-Time Show With The Black Eyed Peas
To be honest with you, I couldn't wait until Fergie was done singing. Her voice was screechy and slightly painful to hear. There was nothing surprising about this performance. Not even when Usher came about. Pretty boring. And when Fergie sang Sweet Child O' Mine, OMG! Axl Rose must have been in an uproar. Fergie demolished this song so bad, I felt bad for Slash, because he was the only one that sounded good. The whole half-time performance was a huge train-wreck that couldn't have been saved.
Mangled National Anthem
Oh boy! This was horrific. According to MTV.COM , Aguilera has been performing the National Anthem since she was 7. Oh really? Here you have the chance of a lifetime to perform in front of millions, one of the biggest times of the year and you blow it.
When Christina first opened her mouth I was like "OMG, this is going to be butchered." With all the commotion in my house the only part I heard she screwed up was instead of of "O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming," Christina sang "What so proudly we watched at the twilight's last gleaming." What are you kidding me? If you have performed this many times like you mentioned, it should have been right and not f***ed up. I know there was other parts butchered as well, and I'm sure if you put Christina Aguilera Star Spangled Banner Lyrics" into the Google search box, something will appear I'm sure by this. People are going to be curious what she actually sang.
Super Bowl Best Commercials 2011 Where?
Every year you always have a few good commercials that people are talking about the next day still. Well, this year Super Bowl 45, the commercials were quite a disappointment I feel.
Yes, The Vader kid was cute, Justin Bieber and Ozzy were boring, Kim Kardashian was NOT sexy and probably doesn't even wear Sketchers anyway, they should have brought back the cute and infamous Bud frogs, at least they gave people something to talk about. So as far as Super Bowl 45 in it's entirety it stunk.

Post a CommentI agree Angel, at least the game was good because that was it this year.
I agree totally, the game was better than anything else, and I don't even like football...
I completely agree.
Yep.......thanks... :o)
That's too bad. Maybe it'll be better next year.
I agree with you. The commercials were awful and the only thing I liked about the half-time show was the light show. That was kind of cool.
I usually just come into the room when I hear a commercial starting, but this year, with a very few exceptions, they weren't worth the half dozen steps...
I didn't even know Usher was up there in half-time since he was dressed just like his backup dancers, and I was embarrassed for Aguilera, she really botched the Anthem big time. I thought a few commercials were good, like the Pepsi Max one where that dude is thinking, "I wanna sleep with her, I wanna sleep with her" but the Coca Cola commercials were just plain weird...the actual game was good tho, even tho I'm a Steelers fan. But all those interceptions made me want to pull my hair out :)
I agree.
Wasn't one for the memory books~ cheers!
