Super Bowl Champions

A List of the Super Bowl Winners in Games I Thru XL

Gary Lanham
The SuperBowl is the pinnacle achievement for teams in American professional football and an iconic event in the sports world. The two conference champions of the NationalFootballLeague compete in this single game, the winner taking the league championship. For a sports fan it is a special game; for a football fan it is the game.

Twenty-six NFL teams have played in Super Bowls. The Dallas Cowboys have the most appearances with eight, winning five championships. The Pittsburgh Steelers (5-1) and Denver Broncos (2-4) each have 6 appearances. The San Francisco 49ers won all five of their games and possesses the only perfect record [among teams playing more than one Super Bowl game].
