Super Bowl Food Ideas For Your Super Bowl 2011 Party
Super Nachos
Nachos are a Super Bowl party food staple, but don't settle for cheeze whiz squirted on top of some stale bagged chip. Simply take a stack of taco-sized medium flour tortillas, and use a sharp knife to cut triangles out of the circles. Pretend you're cutting a pie, and try to get at least 8 uniform triangles. Repeat until you have enough tortilla chips for a big pile of nachos. Fry tortilla triangles in a pot of hot vegetable oil, stirring chips carefully while frying. Check for crispness after 2 mintes; drain on paper towels and sprinkle with kosher salt if desired.
Next, layer whatever toppings you like on top of a single layer of chips, then add another layer of chips. Nobody loves a naked chip! Repeat until your ingredients are used up. We recommend Mexican-blend shredded cheese, sliced black olives, reduced-fat sour cream, seasoned black beans and diced tomatoes. Garnish with green onions and a sprinkle of cumin, chili powder and onion powder. Enjoy!
Super Bowl Food: Tailgate-Friendly Stuffed Salad
Avoid that bloated feeling and nosh all Super Bowl Sunday long by avoiding the bread! Stuff all the delicious things you'd enjoy on a sub sandwich into a hearty salad. Chop lettuce, your favorite meats, tomatoes, cheese and other topping you enjoy. You can add egg, olives, endive, cucumbers, spinach and whatever dressing you like. To keep it feeling like a tailgate, serve in 16-oz red plastic cups with plastic forks.
Super Bowl Food: Fun Ideas For Kids
Need to impress the kids at your Super Bowl Sunday party? Cut low-fact cheese blocks into half-inch thick slices, and shape little footballs out of them. Use a tooth-pick to carve laces. Serve alone or on top of crackers.
For a more filling Super Bowl 2011 snack, get store bought, oven ready pizza dough and reshape into the shape of footballs or helmets with a knife or pizza-cutter. Let each kid top their own pizza with a variety of cheeses, meats and veggies and bake according to dough directions!
For more Super Bowl 2011 fun, you can also use food coloring to dye foods and drinks according to your kids' favorite team's colors!

LOL forgive the typo....don't know what the hell "low-fact" cheese is, but I certainly don't want America feeding their kids stupid cheese because of me! It should read "low-fat", obviously!
