Super Bowl Parties in Dallas

Super Bowl Events

I am sure glad that live in the Dallas area, because I am pumped about attending some of the Super Bowl parties. Let's check out a few of the activities:

Prince is going to be playing a concert down at the old site of reunion arena. Ticket prices start at only $1500. Now I know that this is a real deal, but it's a little too pricey for me. I think I will pass.

How about the "Dallas SuperBash?" This event is being held by the Fashion Industry Gallery on Ross Road. Pamela Anderson will hang out with celebrities, athletes, and you, for an open bar if you can dish out $750 at the door. Nope.

The Crescent Hotel will host a "Style Icon Party" (whatever that is). Sofia Vergara of ABC's Modern Family will host this event for a mere $1,250. What is Modern Family?

The "NFL Alumni Player of the Year Awards Dinner" sounds good. This event will serve you dinner while former Hall of Fame players give current NFL players awards. The only problem here is that dinner is $1,000. That must be one hell of steak.

We have the "North Texas Jaws Cigar Party" at Reata in Ft. Worth. You can smoke cigars with Ron Jaworski for a mere $500. (They had better be Cubans.)

I like this one: The "Stars & Stripes Celebrity Bowling Bash" at the Arlington Lanes. This event is only $1500 per team per lane. What ever happen to bowl one game; get one free?

How about the "XLV Party" at the Cotton Bowl? You can party with the Village People, Passion Pit, and Sublime for up to $500 per ticket. This is actually a deal.

You can attend the "Pro Football Hall of Fame Merlin Olsen Luncheon" at Union Station for a mere $975 and up. I wonder if this includes drinks?

The NFL Players Fathers Association will host a golf tournament at Firewheel Park in Garland for a mere $600 per team.

I think I will stop right there because if you don't get the message by now you have stones in your head: This event is for the big shots! I realize that all of these activities benefit charitable causes, but who can afford this. If you're like me you can go down to the Hall of State building in Fair Park and view the "Remembering Tom Landry" exhibit for a mere $2 and then head down to the local Buffalo Wild Wings for $3.75 large beers and the game. Hey, it's not Cowboys Stadium, but its still a party.
